The National Flag – World Countries for Kids

The national flag of Benin is made up of two horizontal stripes (yellow and red) on the right side and a vertical green band on the left side. The green represents hope and revival, yellow the country’s wealth, and red the courage of ancestors. The current flag design was adopted on November 16, 1959. Read more here!
