The Culture of Bahrain – World Countries for Kids

The culture of Bahrain is similar to that of its Arab neighbours in the Persian Gulf region. The state religion of Bahrain is Islam, and the majority of Bahraini citizens are Muslim. Most of the Bahraini Muslims are Shiites, and along with Iraq and Iran is one of three countries where Shiites are the majority. Storytelling and ceremonial dances are also common. Music in Bahrain is similar to that of its neighbours; Khaliji (a type of folk music) is popular in the country. Know more here
